Brooke Crouch is an RDH that understands the importance of increasing access to care for all patients. Brooke believes that dentistry must expand from the typical brick and mortar and become mobile to better serve our communities. Brooke has spent the last decade transforming her career from working as a private sector dental hygienist, to become a Remote Supervision RDH, an advocate, a consultant, an educator and building mobile dentistry programs from conception to realization. She knows what drives dental hygiene’s access to care forward.

After spending seven years in the private sector, Brooke went to work as a State employed Remote Supervision Dental Hygienist (RSDH) in their school-based sealant program. During her four years in that position, she expanded the program to include three health districts. She worked with the local non-profit hospital system to train medical providers on the application of fluoride varnish, to increase access to care and improve medical/dental integration. This is one of the most successful medical/dental integration collaborations in the State of Virginia. Brooke has worked with the local refugee population to provide education and fluoride varnish. She has established a dental program that serves clients in the housing authority, to literally reach children where they live. Brooke has successfully worked with a Federally Qualified Health Center as a Dental Outreach Program Manager RDH to build and grow their outreach efforts. Brooke has a passion to not only serve children, but is interested in expanding care to reach the senior population in the nursing home setting. Brooke has also worked with local non-profits to advocate for an adult Medicaid benefit in Virginia, and has met with legislators to lobby for this. She is passionate about advocating and expanding access to care for all. In addition to Brooke's public health work, she is also an adjunct faculty member for the Dental Hygiene program at the a Community College. Brooke is dedicated to improving her community and the need to provide equal care for all.
